Ahhhhh...the relief of a snow day. Right smack dab in the middle of the week. I kiss you, snow clouds!
Well, that's a little dramatic for me, but after being so tired yesterday, this snow day was a welcomed relief. And I actually did school work...that I actually believe is not my work to do...and my own teaching work is being somewhat neglected. Whatever. So as not to spoil this lovely day, I will just say that I accomplished a lot today so I'm happy.
Here's the mileage for the day: 5 miles on the treadmill. (jogged at least 2.5 of those miles) and did 10 minutes of strength training, so another half mile. Watching the Tudors makes it a bit easier to do. I vary the incline of the treadmill between .5 and 2.
Here's what I have: 71.5 - 5.5 = 66 miles to go.
Also, still on the diet but I must admit cheating. I'm really missing grains...I love grainy stuff. Imagine, I cheated by having a bowl of Special K and a piece of multi-grain toast. That almost sounds funny to me.
Back to school tomorrow with a long day ahead of me. I doubt I'll get any miles in tomorrow. But I'll try.
